'color spectrum', 'visible spectrum' or 'optical spectrum'

(In sources, I have the link to an online dictionary with the following definition:
"Noun1.color spectrum - the distribution of colors produced when light is dispersed by a prism")

It is not just a "spectrum" as the spectrum includes a wide range that is not visible ... the colors we see are only a tiny sliver of the spectrum. So you need to clarify that it is the "color spectrum" or "visible spectrum".

I actually think that "rainbow" is close too ... I wouldn't point to the colors and say "that's a spectrum", but more likely "that's a rainbow" ... but technically a rainbow is the color spectrum that appears as a "bow" (an arch).
