this question is answered easily. people do not realize that males and females are not seperated through sex alone. we are different in all physiological areas: chemically, skeletally, psychologically etc.
the reason men cannot multi-task is because of the smaller size of the corpus callosum, which seperated the two hemispheres of the brain and functions as sort of a "trafficking" point of the brain... lets say a woman's corpus callosum is an eight lane highway, and a man's is a two lane highway. only so much information can come and go at one time. because of this, men are generally better at focusing ALL of their attention at One thing precisely, and women generally are better at doing many things at once but with less precision

i shouldnt even respond to your feministic view of men but since i am a man i will tell you that i can do tow things at a time very well the first of which is stand and piss i dont have to sit or squat to keep my legs dry, also i am very capable of typing and talking on the phone at the same time or like i do at work i multitask by talking on the phone working on a vehicle and making sure other work is getting done it only seems like men dont multitask because they dont make such a big deal about it like women do.

You should be very specific....anyone can do 2 things, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time, shower and sing....drive, steer, accelerate and talk, dance, smile and listen to music, sing and dance, these are a few examples.....Let us know what you are talking about exactly, then we can comment on the 2 things "you" are speaking of.........

Every study I've seen suggests that men are more capable of multi-tasking than women, but such generalizations are generally only dwelled over by the intellectually retarded.

My wife says this all the time, for myself, it's an issue of being focused on one project at a time. I don't mind having multiple projects, but I only like to focus on one thing at a time.

Well in all honesty if we did, we would confuse women, and then there would be crying and we'd have to explain stuff, so it's just easier to only do one thing at a time.

i can do quite a few things at once.

for one thing, i can look at a paper and hold a pencil at the same time.

if you believe that i can't do that, then i feel sorry for you. i have no idea how those feminist views are justified in your head.

because we don't want to get your expectations up , women might demand more from their men. It is called classical conditioning men use reverse psychology on women to get them to leave us alone especially during football season. and boy does it work.
