I'm a smoker (no, not bragging or trying to justify it....stupid habit). Still, as a smoker, I'm really irritated by smokers who do that. I always use an inside ash tray, besides making sure I'm way downwind of non-smokers even when I smoke outdoors. I think it's just the decent thing to do. Also, throwing cigs out of a moving car window is dangerous, not to mention stupid!

Last year in my area a firefighter was charged for throwing a butt out his window. It caused the biggest forest fire we've had in a while. The guy was gutsy enough to fess up . But I bet he won't do that again.

I think that they are polluting the environment more because they do not put out the smoke and the cigarette could end up burning something.

Pissed! because cigarettes can cause fires and they are the same as littering and I dislike litter bugs, we all live on this land, people need to respect one another.

no i do not the cigarett but is biodegradeable. i think the poor person is going to die a horrible death if they keep that up.. i know i have watched two of my brother-in-laws die from it and have another in intensive care from it now.

I have no problem with that....unless it hits MY car!
Then I floor the gas pedal....I get ahead of that SOB and I start tossin' pennys out the window.
A cig butt on my windshield earns a crack in yours!

I really don't pay much attention to it. Too many people litter/smoke, it's something you have to tolerate.
