it's starting to rain here and my windshield fogs up like crazy even with the defrosters going, does putting shaving cream on the windshield keep it from fogging up? since it fogs up from the inside mostly, would you have to put the shaving cream on the inside aswell?

basically, i want to know if it works, and how to apply it. thanks

Anti Fog Cream

Yes, it actually does work. Take a rag, put some cream on it, and smear it on the windshield. A little bit goes a long way. You might have to take a clean rag and get it real good. Hockey players used to use it on their face shields, and i use it on my glasses when I'm coming in and out of the house during winter. It absolutely works, I was amazed when I tried it. Much cheaper than Rain-x.

Look for some anti-fogging Windex or other glass cleaners and clean the glass with them. You can find them at any Wal mart, Target, Kmart or most larger retailers. It works in the bathroom I know ..But your defroster should work just fine as long as its warm and the ac works.( yes the ac...it removes the moisture inside the car)

Yeah, shaving cream keeps it from fogging up. However, it's a lot harder to see through shaving cream than fog.

get Rain X for inside and outside the window- apply as it says and it works miracles. Not shaving cream...

I've heard it works too...just be careful if you use rain-x, my experience with it is if you drive at night, it leaves a really bad glare on your windshield.
