So like, what's up with the red head guy? He always talks in that deep, I'm cooler than cool voice. Always has the same look, so nonchalant and toughass. Kinda irks me!

i like to laugh at him myself.his Mr.super cop routine is too much.and he always has to turn sideways and put his hands on his hips when he talks to someone.and his cool sunglasses are just too much.but that Callie sure is a hottie though hee hee.

I KNOW ... I love CSI but dang, David Caruso is such a freaking goober. Grissom is so much better! Heck, the whole cast of Las Vegas is better than the Miami cast.
Horatio always has the same lines. He looks down and off to the side, and says something like "Well, I'll tell you what I'll do."
"Well Maria, I'll tell you what I'll do. I'm going to put you some place where you can never kill again."
"Well John, I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll put you some place where the bad guy can't hurt you again."
The one-liner jokes only work with Gil Grissom. He's a nerdy intellectual, and he's FUNNY when he says the silly stuff. Horation just thinks he's cooler than Elvis, and THAT'S why he says the stupid one-liners. I don't like it.

You're not the only one who's irked by him. Don't forget the fact that he cocks his head to the side when speaking and usually doesn't look at the person he's addressing. Oh yeah, and he takes his sunglasses off and puts them back on at least a dozen times in each episode.
I'd rather watch the original CSI any day.

He annoys me also- he's SOOOOcool with his nonchalant attitudeLOL my brother thinks he's a great actor from the movies- i dont remember David Caruso in any, if he was, he probably annoyed those audiences as well!

Join the club...Caruso is just that way...his character on NYPD Blue was "holier than thou" too. Kim Delaney left the show after the first season cuz she just can't get along with him on set.
We decided to make him a drinking game....you know how he repeats things? "you will james, you will".
Well whenever he does one of those lines...you do a shot...how many are there in one show???
