I also like Johnny Cash better...
But Elvis had a better voice range...
He could go from a high note to a low note very easy..
Johnny Cash mostly talked his songs..
I guess you can say I know what I'm talking about cause I'm a singer/musican...
I have been playing music for about thirty years...

I think that Elvis Presley is better only because I am more familiar with Presley than Cash. I don't that it matters the amount of records sold. There are very good artists/bands out there that people are not familiar with. I choose Presley.

I like them both, but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Johnny Cash because his music is all about the life he lived and he lived a rough life, and when I hear his music my heart really goes out to him! I do thank th lord for Elvis though because his hip movements have brought dance to an all new level that I really enjoy!

Elvis gets my vote. I like a lot more of his songs and he was pop where Johnny Cash was more country. I do really like "Walk the Line" though and when I was a kid I liked "A Bot named Sue".

Its hard to pick but I think Johnny Cash. He's a little more rugged but still can't get Elvis's hips outta my head.(He could move them good.)

Cash. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Not saying that Elvis wasn't amazing, he was, but Johnny Cash actually had SOUL... he had SOUL in his music... Elvis was to get money for his next fix.
Plus his lyrics were beautiful and more genuine.
My bad to Elvis fans.

elvis definitely. no question about it. he is the king. he always will be.
he may have been a junkie but he sure could sing.
people used to make funof me cause i love his music i am only 30 my kids listen to him. i cant hear though so i keep a cd player under my desk and keep my feet on it and play elvis music and 80's music i feel it not hear it. i lost my hearing when i was 14.
when people used to tease me i used to say that elvis was tied up in my basement with marolyn monroe to my hot water tank. and if they beleived that i added abe lincolin. haha. i wish elvis was still alive. he had the voice of an angel.
