when I click to minimize my IM screen It goes away , and it takes up the whole screen. what do I do?

The IM screen use to be smaller and I could do more than one thing. Now it takes up the whole screen and won't minimise without going completly away. what do I do?

try taking your mouse on top, bottom and sides, drag the arrows 2 the middle one side at a time 2 resize it..
