My house needs new gutters. I am broke so I plan to put them up myself. The company that will be rolling them for me will miter corners for $30(?) each. Is this necessary? Or can I just buy corner pieces and caulk them to the corners?

miter looks better and water will flow right around them. i would go with the miter to prevent problems in the future.

If they are rolling the gutter, the corner piece might not fit. Go ahead and buck up for the miter.
