Forget about this so-called friend, turns out that this person wasn't much of a friend at all.

Forget her and tell your mom to move on...there are other nice people out there to be friends with

Why is she mad with her?

Guess the problems lie with them and not you. Check with your mom if she is keen to get her friendship back, otherwise, whatever you do, it won't be easy for you to mend the relationship.

It takes two to tango, if you really think your mom and her friend should be friends again, talk to both of them, hopefully they see that they should salvage the friendship.

if she refuses to return any phone calls or make any attempt to make contact in three years then that friendship is over and it's time to move on.

she wasn't a good friend to drop her frienship with your mom just like that, i think something is up w/ her and your dad do you? and no i would'nt bother with her, if she was a friend she would still be there for your mom.

Why bother about a best friend who doesn't care about you.A best friend should go through thick and thin.
