India, is where most of the doctors here,are from,, think they are pretty smart, have trouble understanding them.

Most doctors seem Indian and not Arab. I think India pays for students to study medicine in America and return to India. However, many do not return.

Not only doctors, but gas stations, hotels and even Internet providers are being run by Arabs. I guess that's alright, but I have a very hard time understanding them and it seems to make them angry. I live in the South and with my southern twang and slow hearing, I honestly have trouble communicating with them. I just smile and nod a lot. Not really sure if that's a good idea, but it has worked so far. :)

You might be talking of a particular location! What I have seen, most doctors are from India or Indian origin.

Most of the foreign doctors I meet are from India.

Not Arab, indian...I suppose a Patel or a Singh is an Arab to you...
Come on man , Indians are doctors or cabbies, arabs do oil or bombs

There're not. We have different kinds of doctors. That's only one perspective. In many of the middle eastern cultures, it is important for people to try to become doctors and lawyers. Their parents push them.

how funny *laughing*.. I am from SaudiArabia and I noticed we seem to import loads of doctors from England, US and Australia... There must be some sort of Swap system going on between our governments..

Because so many of them ARE Arab. And they make good doctors. They are bright people, so are Palestinians, bright people, having the makings of fine doctors, and we see a fair number of them in private practice and in the hospitals in this country.

Most (of course not all) are smart and value education (like people from India).
