You should drop Portis, Because Washington has no playoff chances at this moment, and they are just experimenting with the players, and will not put Portis in even if he is healthy, because they know what he is capable off, they need to experiment with new players, to see their full potentials. Betts is a good option, but look around more, there are better RB's out there.
And the trade comment someone suggested, forget about it, no one in their right state of mind would trade Portis with you, what would they have to give up to get portis? Toomer (He is on IR)? you can't get anything for him.
But you shouldn't be that bad off that Betts is your best RB2 option. Look around...
Good luck!

I definitely agree that you should drop portis because i do think he will be out for the long term I would look to see if anyone else was out there possible trades betts is not going to put up any numbers maybe someone like maurice-jones drew or brandon jacobs or almost anybodies backup that is great around the goal line and average a decent amount of touches per game

I'd pick up Betts, but don't drop Portis until you see how the next few weeks go. If the Skins are still in the hunt, CP may be the key to winning your week 14-17 games...

Yes. Only because most fantasy seasons end in week 14. Portis will miss 3 to 5 games. He's possible playoff material, but nothing more.
If possible, drop an extra TE or bench-type WR, retainling Portis incase you get into the playoffs.

Portis is out till a minimum of the huge-unfold season opener... it ought to be longer, yet no person has formally suggested something different than a minimum of all pre-season. they're leaving the alternative he could be decrease back in time for week a million. As for figuring out on up Betts, in case you have the roster area, i could %. him up. This undertaking is precisely the reason you in some situations desire to draft your stud RB's backup.

Drop him for somebody with more talent. Betts isn't a very good or experienced running back.
