How far along do you have to be to hear your babys heartbeat with a stethescope?

dont use a stethescope thats what doctors use to hear your heartbeat with {i think} they actually have a device out that you can hear your babys heart beat its called bebe sounds i dont know where you live but we got ours at wal-mart and i am 22 weeks and i heard my babys heart beat at 17 weeks so about 4 months with the bebe sounds and with the bebe sounds you can hear the baby moving around and stuff its kinda neat

Usually around 20 weeks. I never actually listened to mine, so I'm not sure how accurate this is. The doctor always used a doppler thingy when I was pregnant.

Depends. Around 17 weeks most of the time.

they can hear it through whats called a Doppler around 12 weeks but through a stethoscope is around 6 months

With my daughter we could hear it at 22 weeks. My husband also heard it with just his ear to my belly at around 35 weeks.

I heard my baby at 14 weeks. It was really faint but I know I heard something. :)
