How do you feel about Wal Mart getting rid of their layaway? I for one, am pretty irritated by this. That is usually how we do Christmas, not to mention that my stepson's birthday and back to school shopping all fall within the same time period. I don't understand how they could be losing $ on their layaway counter and I think that Sam Walton is probably rolling in his grave. His goal when he founded Wal Mart was to make it easier and more convenient for people to buy what they wanted and needed at a low price. They say that it is bc people can buy gift cards to purchase gifts, like I'm really going to use a gift card to buy school supplies. Is anybody else as upset about this as I am? Serious opinions only please................

I think Walmart will lose business. This is how my mother always purchased gifts and school clothes. Their idea is that most people have credit cards but I don't think they are a good idea.

Walmart does a lot of things I don't agree with but I still shop there.

I would love to boycot the place but I can't afford to.
