Gotta' admit, sounds like a plan to me!!
Like every 2 years? With an option to evaluate twice within that 2 years and if both evaluations are negative, the marriage is over?

As it is, divorce rates are getting higher all over the world. Making marriage license renewable only propagates the corrupted idea that marriage is not "till death do us part". So NO!

My goodness gracious........If it could be......goodness, knows what mood they are in when the time came up for renewal!!! Lol.........No, it should not.
Marriage is a commitment to each other, to love, care for, have children, etc.
you made laugh again, with your question......It sure would be a lot less trouble etc, than a divorce, and of course the lawyers would not be getting their money...meaning the people who would not renew the marriage license..

It's only a marriage license until you go through with the ceremony. Then you get a marriage certificate.

you can renew your marriage vows but the license is supposed to be for life.

No, you don't have to renew the license. Some people like to renew vows on special anniversaries.

I love this question! My husband of 27 years has ask this very same question, (jokingly) since our 5th wedding anniversary. I'll send him this, he'll love it too. But as for an answer. NO!
