Society needs Healing. And healing requires certain steps.
We need to stop justifying and making excuses for the way we think, speak,
and behave. By blaming others for the way they think, speak, and behave.
And make a sincere effort to think, speak, and behave in a positive way.

Of course they are. Are you new at this? You question whether or not it is all? If you hang out with a black man long enough he will bust out this excuse eventually. You just haven't heard all black people say it because they weren't thinking about it right then. Ask them, they'll tell you. And the sad part is whites allow it. They actually feed it, and invented it. It's white shame that clouds you crackers minds.

No. The problem is an economic one, not an excuse. By the 1800's, all of the land in the U.S. was owned thus creating second-class citizens out of anyone who did not own land -- the freed slaves and the immigrants.

You can't pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

The U.S. government tried to remedy the economic problems through tuition grants and aid to minorities.

I don't because it's in the past and I don't dwell in the past. Some people in general use past sorrows as an excuse to make up for their mistakes. Some Black people probably do use it as an excuse but I personally don't know any.

definately...and as far as what we have been experiencing with reverse discrimination (I remember seeing a job add which stated white males need not reply), how can punishing people who's forefathers may have been responsible for racism in the past, make things right today. does'nt make much sense

You even asking this question, means that you have pre-conceived notions about "some" blacks.

You are the reason things aren't equal.
