Barrack Obama is supposedly for the veteran. I live in Illinois and voted for the SOB! Well why does he never send correspondence back to the veterans he is supposedly trying to help? My neighbor is an Iraqi war veteran who is disabled! My best friend is a Viet Nam veteran that is disabled. Both are service connected. Both have contacted his office and have not even received a letter stating that he has received their letters. Our other Senator Durbin has contacted them both.

Sen. Obama's approval rating from the Americans for Democratic Action last year was 100% and his approval rating from American Conservative Union was 8%.
Republicans don't dislike Obama any more than any other Democrat who votes as liberal as that. In other words, Republicans dislike Obama as much as they dislike Senators Kennedy and Boxer and Schumer and so on.

he came out of no where; and has absolutely no history in federal politics until he won. he has extremely liberal view points. there is no frame of reference as to whether or not he has the capabities to be a a good senator let a lone anything beyond his current job. do not like his political philosophy. also, he'll not be able to run for president, because Hillary will not allow this next run to go by without her in the mix. the best she might do is give him a vp spot.

they're intimidated by him because he's a serious threat and has a good chance at the presidency. and to make it worse there's nothing they can criticize about him
