where u place any object on it, its made of a lot of needles. and when u place like your hand on it, your hand appears on the other side, but made of needles? whats it called

I know exactly what you are talking about, I have one. It's labeled the Palm Reader. I bought it at the Smithsonian and really like it as a stress relief toy.

It is called a Pin Art. I have one here at my house with the original box and that is what it says it is called.

That one's called pin art, that's a pretty reasonable name

I don't think anybody remembers the name of that thing. But I do remember that everyone had one. And every time you saw one you had to play with it.
