Call in and tell them you won't be in. No need to lie. Better yet, some places will let you use a sick day and won't give you an occurrence if you tell them ahead of time that you will be missing.

I would rather quit that call in with a phoney excuse. No boss worth his salt believes those excuses under any circumstances.

do u have any children if you do just say that u need 2 take him/her 2 the doctors because ur/husband/wife cant drive there
