Hi hun, Just felt like i had to say i am so sorry for what someone said in one of your answers,people come in here as a safe place and some stranger talks to you (many teens) like you are nothing.I'm here to tell you that was a great and curious question for new people to deal with in our community(lesbian,gay,bi,trans).It really isn't something that is taught but you will come into your own as you spend time around other lesbians maybe in some social events and just feel your way through what fits you best,some are femmes or more known as lipstick lesbians,some are just tomboys and some are soft butch and some are hard core butch,dress and act much like a man.so you see there are many personalities in our world as well as being in a straight world..I wish you the best and just hall er if you need to ok Bye Deb

Pretty much the only difference between how a lesbian acts and how a straight girl acts is that lesbians flirt seriously with other girls instead of with boys.
After that, well it's all individual.

Just be yourself! The only thing different about lesbians is that they are into women. Don't try and act like a stereotype.

'Deb' is right. You just need to be 'yourself'...and dont try to be what other people 'say' that we're like. "Lesbians"...doesn't mean that we 'all' are, or act a certain way, or dress a certain way....we are, what we are...................and we are, WHO we are, period. Dont try to change yourself to 'fit in', because you will fit in just fine, by being YOU. It's when you try to be 'someone else', that backfires on you !
