I go to a High School which is to supposde to only let smart students in but I am making the highest grades.While others are not even making 70s

Simple question simple answer, they don't care and even if they wanted to they wouldn't because it isn't acceptable to like learning. Actually many teens have amazing potential but they aren't pushed to excell. They're caught up in themselves. Of course not all of them are like that. Some could care less about Hollywood, and would rather discuss issues or read, but I, personally still do like to do stupid stuff like go chacing jackrabbits on four wheelers at night, but unlike most I don't drink. Any how don't sweat it, it's them who'll pay in the end.

Parents teach their children they are smart, and entitled to things in life, and when something happens to make the student unhappy the parents bring in their team of lawyers to set it straight. Gone are the days of hard work and pushing yourself to be better. Gone are the days of skinning your knee on the playground from a heated game or interaction. As long as your computer allows you to imagine you are in a world where you can kill your enemies life is pretty simple.

Maybe your school isn't so smart. I'm in high school and it's hard, but I'm still getting straight A's. I have around 6 hours of homework a night. I don't call that easy.

it comes with the year we are in. think of the pyramids. they still can't figure out how they were done. it went with the calendar. we had all theese inventers. the king of rock was way later and etc...and as the world is about to end which i don't really beleive, but we are just getting stupider and then we will be no more. 0 brains.

It's called "No Child Left Behind". Teachers no longer teach extensively. Teachers teach the test and grade your memory.

its the way how kids nowadays are living..hanging out, living too americanized, feeling free all the time..so most likely a lot of students wont care

so you go to a private high skool? do you have to pay money to be in it? cuz if so thats the problem. theres this place around here called sage high school and only kids that can afford it go there and all of those kids are stupid too so... i dunno... they just dont care...

because they all slack their way through elementary and middle school. that or they just cheat their way through. (thats what my school does)
