It seems like as soon as I was getting positive results on preg tests I started bleeding....really really bad. I was probably only a week along but when does the bleeding start to ease up alittle and I have noticed its not just blood its looks like there is differ kinds of things in there. Me and my husband are wanting to try again so bad, how long do you think we should wait and are you really fertile after a miscarriage?? And is it normal to bleed quite abit and have things that look like blood clots and stringy things??? All answers would be so helpful!!

Same thing happened to me. I bled a lot for 4 weeks straight, and it was very painful. I now have an almost 8 month old daughter, and it was because my doctor put me on Provera, which is a progesterone replacement. Maybe the reason you keep miscarrying is due to low progesterone levels; like me. Ask your doctor about checking your progesterone levels. I would wait a couple of months before trying again. Good luck!

1st you need to call your doctor. 2ed i lost a pregnancy at 10 weeks the bleeding was a tad worse then a heavy period with more cramps. I only bleed about 8 days the sac all passed at once. I had to have a ultrasound done after the bleeding to be sure nothing was left. You will get a infection if any tissue is left you DO NEED to call your doctor...you may not even be miscarring but having another issue going on. Next i never tried again that was a fertility drug pregnancy. I am now 33.5 weeks with a boy no fertility meds 4 years after the miscarriage so WHEN TO TRY again is always a very personal choice my doctor said best to wait at least 3 months min 6 months preferred.

I had a miscarriage about 5 weeks before I got pregnant with my son. And yes, all that stuff you are mentioning can be normal, but you should go see your doctor. An early miscarriage, after a week or so pregnancy, shouldn't create that much tissue matter.

It's common for women with tipped or angled uteruses to have backlog of matter from their periods- my mom had that and had to have some help when she got closer to menopause- I won't go into detail. She didn't even know her uterus was tipped, and she had two natural childbirths. So you may have a tipped uterus and what you are seeing is more related to your period than a pregnancy. Again, I would go see your doctor.

I'm sorry for your loss. I wish you luck on your next attempts...

I had a miscarriage when I was about a week like you. I passed clumpy chunks. The doctor told me to come back and have an ultrasound done to make sure there was no debris left.

Well, 2 weeks after my miscarriage, I found out I was pregnant. ( I had 3 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy) I carried him full term and he was a cheeky healthy baby.

Good luck with everything!

When you have a miscarriage, it is normal to have blood clots. You also bleed for like two weeks or so. Have you gone to your doctor? If you miscarried as you suspect, you should discuss it with your doctor before trying to conceive again. Good luck!

If you are having a misscarrige you really need to go get seen you may need a DNC to make sure everything gets out. Also you have to wait atleast 3 months before trying again. You can do more harm to yourself if you don't wait. I had 5 misscarriges before I finaly carried my son to term. It is hard but you will get through it.

Go see your doctor.

You may be experiencing a miscarriage. Or, it could just be a heavy period. But, it sounds like an abnormal period for you. It could be fetal matter. Before you can sucessfully carry another child you need to make sure everything is cleaned out...

So very sorry to hear about what happened to you. I can relate to your experience. I often wonder what my child would have been like.

You may want to watch this to bring you more comfort and healing. It's beautiful, but have tissues. Very powerful.

Did you go to the doctor? Ask your OBGYN what to do. I dont know about the excess bleeding....Talk to God and pray about it! Good Luck!
