Nah... I thought it was a cheesy way to end a series.

Ehhh....not so much. It seemed like they were bitter about ending the series, the last episode was so...unnecessarily sad. I mean, did they have to kill the baby? I didn't like that, especially Trip being killed...jeez. I liked the series as Star Trek, it had some good episodes. And no, I don't think Riker/Troi should have done more...it might have been nice, but it was the finale of Enterprise, after all. It is common opinion among the Star Trek clubs I'm in that they brought in Manny Coto too late, that had they brought him in earlier, the show might (some say definitely) have stood a better chance. I think the episodes got better later on, not perfect, but above earlier seasons.

Ah Enterprise.

It would still be on if they had not made the entire third season about the Xindi.

They should have concentrated on the strengths of the orginal series and expanded on those, like they did with the morally ambiguous Andorian character, Commander Thy'lek Shran

Such a waste, because I thought the entire last season was gold, even the last episode.

I thought it looked like the actors were upset after they knew the show was cancelled. I thought the final season was the worst, except for the alternate universe episodes. Those were great! I loved the show and was very disappointed when it was cancelled.

I personally did not like how it ended... I would have rather take the last scene and have Archer on the podium accepting his accomodation for his deeds. Light flashes around archer and screen goes white. White fades out quickly and he is in the arms of Kirk and he turns his head and sees his reflection as a green skinned woman and looks at the camera and says: Oh boy...

That is how I wished it had ended.
