It will cause gridlock. Which is BAD not good. The Pres. has his hands tied now, I hope his daddy's people can pull it out for him.

Because gridlock is in the best interest of the American people. Gridlock means that it is harder to make laws. And if it is harder to make laws, then that means it will he harder to oppress. That's a large part of what checks and balances means.

Because then they could campaign in 2 years on the fact that the Administration got nothing done (while they were causing the shut downs), and they can take credit for the economy that they ahd absolutely nothing to do with. (hint: it takes 2-5 years for ANY economic policy to take effect.)

Because the new Congress is majority Dem & Bush is Rep. There isn't much they agree on.
