I didn't want to be the devil's advocate on this one, but I will. (My first choice would've been Tom Brady for his leadership skills, and modesty) Just for fun, I'll go defense, since nobody has (yet anyway), and say Brian Urlacher. If you saw him dictate the game against the Giants yesterday, you were able to see what kind of a leader and player he was. Forever in my mind will be the fake field goal touchdown he scored against Washington a few years back. Simply amazing.

Ha ha....I read this in last week's SI (I'm a subscriber) and waited to see who would post it first, as a die hard Colts fan, I of course would go with the obvious of Peyton Manning.....but, I think I would ultimately have a tie between Brady and Manning. By the way, this was an NFL players poll and Peyton Manning won by a large percentage followed by Tom Brady.

I don't care for him that much, but Peyton Manning. He is smart enough to run the show. But then I thought about it, and I said Donovan McNabb. He is such a classy guy. He can build around any offense that you give him and utilize your strengths even if he isn't it. He can mentor young players and be a good role model for members of the community. And they booed him in philly.

I truly hate to say this......I appreciate his play, but I'm not his fan....nor am I a fan of ANY QB....(probably due to me playing corner)...but I would have to say Peyton Manning. With or without a running game he has the ability to move the ball up and down the field....(ask the #1 Defense in Denver). He's football smart..doesn't make many mistakes...gets alot of his teammates envolved....comes from a good bloodline. I personally like LT, however for my franchise....Payton it is.

You guys are forgetting that in this league you have to protect your RB and QB regardless of who you have. I would build around a good O-line...so I would pick Johnathan Ogden.
