I am a software engineer.
can you suggest me any hobbies, interesting works, self interest kind of thing to do after work hours.
iam not looking particularly for a profitable thing.
I do not prefer doing something like hobby, outside my house.
and iam sick of playing games,checking mails, and watching videos all my free time.
so is there something i can do to convert my dull boring time at home to an interesting one?

Get a pet, they require attention and affection. They are good companions.
You could read, make a scrapbook, cook, bake, garden, take care of a houseplant, redecorate, sew, knit, cross-stich, anything really.

When I am bored or stressed, I like to sew pillows. I make two that match each other. They can be just a throw pillow or a smaller size. I sometimes give them out for a baby shower or an anniversary gift to my friends or family. One couple I made a small set for, went to a small Island for 3 months. They could not bring much with them. They took my pillow set with them. They both told me it really helped them alot. Because were they were staying they had no pillows, and they had to supply their own. Good thing they brought the ones I gave them.
I also decorate house crafts. Just simple ones, that can also be given out as gifts. You can buy some plain plastic pots for plants,
and some craft paint and decorate the pots with designs on it. Then buy some fake flowers and make a nice arrangement for your house or for someone. Every thing I do I try to make it use full for some one or my self. But fun to. Even my kids help me.
If you don't like crafts, you can plant a small spice garden for your personal use. Or bake some goodies, and give to neighbors or invite friends over for dessert.
Maybe even tutor some kids of friends you know. You are very smart and alot of kids need help in school.

Write a new game or sofware program, maybe. If you like to draw or paint, go buy some materials and have at it. Or, read a book.
