there's a lot of stores that are cool to go through. everything is tax free so you can indulge yourself. i'm pretty sure there are electrical outlets. there is wireless internet but you have to pay with a credit card. if you are a smoker - you are in luck - there is a smoking section close to terminal 21ish. yah i was there for a while. i also took a little nap at a food place on the table.

Ignore the racist tart above.

At night, Heathrow is really pretty quiet. If you are there overnight, there's really not much point getting a tube into central London because there wont be much to do in the middle of the night! There are plenty of places to catch some sleep and there are sockets for your laptop...but you might consider booking a room in one of the many cheap hotels at the airport..you'll be a LOT more comfortable.

You'll go out your mind on a 20hr layover....

Contact your connecting airline desk, and see if their is an earlier flight going - than the one your booked on. Don't bank on it though - they often do have one, and may want a charge to change.

I have even been offered an earlier flight - at check in , which saved me hours. FOR FREE.

If you can't organise this, or can't afford a changed departure, then you simply must find a hotel / hostel. See if you can check you baggage in early, as it will relieve the stress of towing it around, and eliminate the risk of being robbed of all you have with you.

If your absolutely broke, try posting a cry for help on here! Ya never know....

it could be extremely tight because it is a pair of million.5 hours each way via underground and additionally you would be paying way, excess of the opportunities for the two the heathrow exhibit or a cab. there are various shops at Heathrow, a minimum of it is how I killed a million.5 hours mutually as waiting for a flight. I additionally think of if it is in elementary terms a stopover you won't be able to go away the terminal as you ought to flow by customs.

If you don't have much luggage, take the Underground into downtown and take a quick double decker bus tour.
