It is politically correct to do so these days. A few decades ago, it was unheard of to have blacks on ads or on TV. There are more and more minorities being depicted in advertising than ever before. I remember in the 60's there was a lot of criticism towards the lack of blacks being represented in the media and how black children were supposedly being taught that white was better; even that a white Barbie was better than a Barbie of colour. There wasn't a black Barbie at that time. I guess it's the sign of our times. Perhaps, it is an effort put in place to ward off unwanted law suits pointing to discrimination. Have a nice day

Because companies want to be sure that blacks are included or a "targeted" audience. It sells a product....Most companies also have focus groups to study demographics and develop ads that will appeal to the black community as well as other groups, hispanics, young adults between 19-25, etc. It's just all about marketing....

Because in the stupid American and Canadian fraudulent intellectuality system; the "Discrimination" means do not Discriminant Blacks, who were slaves, without having any rights just few decades ago! Now in sudden, in every office you can see numbers of Blacks, as Defense, that Blacks do not sue them for discrimination! What is the rate of the Blacks employments with the Government, banks, and big corporations with compare to White? Certainly much higher than White! In another word, discrimination against White is OK! It is same as Jews; the total numbers of Jews in Whole the World are about 13 Millions; However, the Total numbers of Christians and Muslims are well above 4 Billions in the World; YET, you can see that the oppressive and corrupt Governments of Canada and USA fully supported Israel in oppressive war against Christians and Muslims in Lebanon. There was an oppressive 'trial' against me in the City of Toronto, and a black man judge, Vilbert Lampkin during trial steal my master Evidence and many times he insulted! I told him that: "I am Persian Officer, you black man insulating me?" He ordered nine members of the Toronto Police torture me! God knows how many white American and Canadians are victims of Blacks' uncivilized nature; just few months ago a Blackman in Toronto walked in a store in Toronto and Killed a young Iranian sale person; as the Black man did not pay his rent, and the company took his car!

Caucasian people have been used in advertising for many years. The corporations know that Black people spend money too and they want theirs.
