Dont run at full speed, but run fast, and then jump off of one foot as high as you can(you jump lower off of 2 feet).

Just work out your legs, try and find an Air Alert DVD. They give you plyometric training, it requires no weights, just a chair to do the exercises. Don't worry about dunking at age 13 just play a solid game and you'll eventually start dunking. If you are trying to dunk, jump off of two feet because you get more power.

i am 6'1'' and have been dunking since i was an 8th grader! i am white hahaha i rode my bike all the time! i extended the seat so my legs were almost fully extended while pedalling! i had to help my cousin who was 6'5'' and could not dunk! he kept trying to jump out and instead of planting his feet or foot and jumping straight up! the biggest thing is planting your foot or feet and exploding up! i worked on that by getting on the block and taking one step and jumping up with just one step dunking! if you have yahoo messenger and would like to ask more questions feel free to ask mine is king_derrick33 i was top 10 basketball players in oklahoma until i quit! i got phone calls from eddie suttons son and from the coach at oral roberts! i would have played at probably oral roberts but i quit basketball and started other stuff!
