Claire's dad is really a good guy who's trying to stop the guy who's trying to kill his daughter and other like her. I didn't see that coming, anyone else?

yeah i was floored i still think hes a little shady....he might love claire and all that but hes hiding something

I always thought he was with some sort of military NAS or NASA group testing individuals and tracking them to possibly use them as weapons at some later date. Don't be surprised if he is not as good as he sounds. Sure he is trying to protect them but not for purely selfless motives. Let's face it he has a lab and tests them without their knowledge or consent. That is not a truly good man. Sylar may be a nut case. Linderman may be a crook. This guy is still a wid card.

I can't tell that he is a good guy yet, yes he is trying to save his daughter but it is his daughter.
