i need this for a serious project. I need to know how to sorta "melt" the newspaper in water. You need to put some special material(fluid) in but i dont know what to put it. please help me!

to make paper mache you can put the paper along with water in a blender or food processor on puree then add flour and blend again, keep adding flour until you have a very thick paste. or rip your paper into strips and soak it in wallpaper paste and lay it over a premade form. also, craft stores usually carry mache mix.

shred the newspaper into small bits. Then put the newspaper into your container with water.

Then, put the container in sunlight so the paper deterioirates slightly.

then, using your hands, squish it around and break up the newspaper more.

Add some paste but keep the consistency runny. it will stick together when it is dried.

It's been years since I've done that, like kindergarden. But it was sooo much fun! I think you add flour to the water and dip the newspaper in like you would a kitchen border.

For something like this, the best way is to try it yourself and see what happens.
Newspaper + water = a thin paste.
