I've had about 4 or 5, and another one today. The senders couldn't spell, punctuate, or reason, so they just cursed at me instead and insulted me personally using information from my
account. And yourself?

Wow! I've never had that happen. I guess at least it shows that people care about what you say and you have an impact on them. When people write hate mail, it generally means you have challenged their way of thinking, or have made them feel uncomfortable in their own beliefs.

Because of the potential to receive hatemail and infected messages, I do not post an address and make sure my user name is in no way related to my e-mail address. I love corresponding with people bud do not want to take chances of being attacked, spammed or infected by a troll.
