You need to partner with someone who has the skills you lack. Start by making a portfolio first by writing down the message you want to get across. Don't worry at this stage about being creative or artistic--just write. Then edit it. Then get someone else with a good eye to review it. When you have done this collect all the collateral you will need to show off what you can do for the client; images, photos, graphics, brochures, etc. etc. Get your print portfolio done first. Just make sure all your content is neat, orderly and with no spelling or grammar errors. Divide your portfolio in sections; experience, history, case-studies, contact information and anything relevant. Make an eye-catching portfolio with visuals to back up the printed matter. You should back up your print portfolio by duplicating the information on a web-site, DVD/CD presentation (business card size is best), powerpoint, and a "dumbed down" version you can send as a pdf attachment.

I'm not sure I completely understood your question but I hope my comments have helped you in some way.

Best of luck!
