Yes, but they will probably have to go 6-1 over their last 7 games. Going just 5-2 probably won't be enough. The reason I say a 10-6 record probably won't do it, is because of the tie-breaking system. Four of their five wins have been against NFC teams. Non-conference games don't count in tie-breakers at the end of the season ( except for the primary win-loss record ). If they end up tied with a team with a 10-6 record for a playoff spot they will probably lose. Because the Chiefs AFC record will be 6-6, the other team's will probably be better. There are other scenarios that might benefit the Chiefs, but I would be worried about their conference record in evaluating their playoff chances.

not likely, yet do not provide up. The 1992 Chargers began 0.5 and received their very last 11 video games and made the playoffs. The Chiefs were exhibiting some strive against. they receives more effective quickly. They took the Cowboys to extra time; although Dallas has some topics of their personal. The Titans i will not make sure out. They were 13-3 very last three hundred and sixty 5 days. i imagine they're purely dealing with a nasty stretch and may't snap out of it. trust me, that crew is too proficient to be 0.5.

Are the other people answering this question all drunk?
They are 5-4 - better than .0500. They still play the Raiders twice, and the Browns once.
Huard has been playing great, LJ is a force, Gonzalez is a premier tight end.
They are in the hunt for a wild card. Right now, they are tied with the Jets and the Jags for the final AFC spot (its too early to talk about tie breakers). I think they are at about the same level as both NY and Jacksonville.

no they are not playa!!..if they can get 10-13 winz they will be in the playoffs for shure as a wildcard because all the other 4-4 and 5-4 teams have stronger schedules os they will lose more then the cheifs......... these are my predictions for the playoffs jets, chargers, colts, baltimore,(devision champz) patriots and cheifs wildcard...but be ware if the broncos get hot then they will take over wildcard and KC will be kicked out of the wildcard place

We have a better chance of getting our troops out of Iraq by Christmas, and being totally loved by the people of Baghdad. But, hey, at least they're not as awful as the team that gave me ulcers before this year, that being the Detroit Lions. Anymore, I just don't let them bother me. They're not worth the money I was spending on Maalox.
