They are running it now, are they not? They are getting the legitimate government and the US military to do what they want in a sort of reverse psychological way.

First of all Al-Queda are not from Iraq they are from Afganistan. Second they will never be in power anywhere any more. They have pretty much have been dessimated by U.S. and British Forces. Basically what your are dealing with now in Iraq is Insurgents who are people that are really not from Iraq. They are from Syria, Iran, Eygpt and Saudi Arabia. So, them ever gaining power in Iraq is slim and none and slim just left town. These things are going to take time but, it wont surprise me that the U.S. and British troops will be out of there in about a year. We will still have somewhat of a pressence but, not as big as one. The Iraqi people will be responsible for running their own country. They will prevail in the long run but, not with out help from friends. I hope this helps.. Take care.
