well when you think you REALLY REALLY love the person and possibly want to marry them someday. because you are risking having a baby and are you really at the age to take care of one. and i mean you not your parents but you support them, plus go to school and keep a good paying job because you will need one to pay rent and food and hospital bills and so on. i wouldn't worry about having sex right now unless like i said your going to stay with this person and be able to support them through everything. i would say just wait awhile till you can answer all those questions honestly and think from your head not your penis.

don't take advice from some stupid people on here. they obviously don't know what they're talkin about. first of all, sex isn't based on age, it's based on maturity. if you can financially, mentally, and physically deal with the consequences sex does bring sometimes, then you are ready for sex. if not, then your not ready. babies come with sex, even with protection. which leads me to my next statement, a mature individual will know how to protect themself when a baby is not wanted, and that's also a part of maturity, knowing about and exercising protection. third, make sure it's someone you really want to be with and not just some guy/girl who's going to get what they want and run. trust me, if that does happen, you will feel dirty, ashamed, and used. so just be careful in whatever decision you make, and i hope you make the right one!

Whenever they are ready to lose virginity.
For girls from their onset of puberty (i.e., when they mature)
For boys ditto. But for boys they do not lose their virginity. When they have first sex with girls, they become unmarried (they lose their bachelorhood, that is all).
