1. Bed wetters as children.
2. Abusing and killing animals as children.
3. Either very charming or loners.
4. Go back to the crime spot after they commit the crime. It turns them on.
5. Keep a souvenir from their victims.
6. White and intelligent men between the ages of 25 to 45.
7. Very possibly they were abused as children.
8. Classified as sociopaths that are able to mimic human emotion.
Given all this, there are those serial killers that do not fit into the mold, and so when investigators look for these types of criminals, they can't be locked into what they already know about their typical characteristics.

sociopathic personality loner hates animals drugs low IQ itrovert abusive parents low self esteem This is a tricky question. Do you mean before their life of crime, like growing up? As a child they may have similar traits, but as criminals there are too many factors to determine their actions

childhood abuse of some kind which result in antisocial behaviour and other behavioural problems as well as social conflicts like fitting in, being bullied, shy, awkward..
