I'm still on the ground floor waiting for an elevator!

when lifes elevator tries to get me down I simply push the necessary buttons to stall the darn thing until I feel like moving again. The "stall" button may be as simple as making up stories about strangers I encounter----who they are, what their lives are-- anything entertaining. Of course I never do or say anything that would be harmful or embarrassing to these people. It's just a fun distraction that requires no time or energy, just a step out of the ordinary that gives me a smile.

That is why I always take the stairs, it may take longer & ware you out, but at least you get to your destination before the people who were trying to take the easy way!

Mine crashed into the basement floor long ago... You learn to adapt to the gloom and darkness... no way out... don't want out.
