How can I charge my new V980?

Whenever I plug in the charger, the screen says that it cannot charge. I have a sim card and a working battery, but I can't even turn the phone on. help!

when I first got my new phone i had so many problelms I just called there help desk and they were sooo nice and walked me though all the problems and it was great!

There customer service should be there 24/7 and will answer all the questions you need.
