Okay, so I just bought a used ipod. It came with the dock, a USB chord, and a power adapter. However, the USB does not seem to fit and of the ports on my computer. Am I just being stupid and missing something obvious, or is there another part that I need to get to sync the music onto my ipod.

the long rectangular shape w/ the little rectrangle picture that the side that go to ur ipod, the other square on with the apple picture lable get plug into ur comp. either the front or back depend on ur computer.

The USB is the small rectangle part of the cord, the ipod fits in the larger part.

wait if you have usb ports then it should work...make sure you got it in o0ne side because one works and the other doesnt...

i could be wrong but i thought all USB ports were the same size
but i could be wrong???
