What is the ribbed fabric cuffs and waist band on a sweatshirt called and where could I purchase lots of it.?

I found some in a yardsale of a person who retired from a sweatshirt factory and I need more, but lots of it.1000 yards to start

Its called ribbing and you can get it at almost any fabric store. Maybe you could negotiate a good price with a store owner if you are buying in bulk?

You could call the sweatshirt factory where the retiree used to work. Or try a Joann's Fabrics store if there's one in your area.
