Kickboxing...a lot of girls at my Mixed Martial Arts Gym take it and love it! They got pretty nice bodies too, the ones that have been there for a while anyway.

One of the funnest classes I have taken for fun is stained glass. Check out the local college and see if they have some fun evening classes. Another idea is to check with your local Fabric Store, they also have craft classes.
What about your local book store? The ones around here have book clubs and meet once a week.
One more suggestion- what about volunteering? There are so many organizations that can use a helping hand. You will meet others with the same interests too!
Good luck

The odd thing is a hobby is best served when its something you have an intrest in. So posting a question here asking what the best one is really has no right answer. But I would suggest finding things that intrest you. I love scrapbooking and crafts so thats what I do. My family loves sports so we also collect sports items. My daughter loves knickknacks and drawing, thus what she does. You need to find what "you" like and go for it. Good Luck

Try model railroading. You can get anything from amusement parks to industry... you can model it after your own town. It comes in sizes from the kind a kid can ride on to z gauge which is about and inch long. I am getting into N gauge which is about two inches in length (engine). HO has the widest variety, but N is getting much more lately.

I'm 20 and in my free time I enjoy acyclic painting. Try it on your toes, nails, stones, brinks, limestone, or any other surface you'd like to paint. Feeling risky? Paint a wall in your home! It's very fun! You can buy cheap paints from almost anywhere! (I buy mine from the dollar store or Walmart)

Supplies:
Paints (white, black, blue, green, yellow, and red)
With those colors you can make any color!
different size brushes
mixing plate
cup of water
and a canvas!

Have fun!

its really hard to tell somebody a hobby they should get into without knowing anything about you....

likes or dislikes.. ???

you could volunteer somewhere - not so much of a hobby but it contributes to society and makes you feel good
you could get a pet, like a cat or dog....
walking

generally most hobbies involve making things.. like knitting, painting, gardening etc..
and many are costly like riding horses or sky diving
