First of all it's a mythical Nat'l Championship, meaning that they don't play for the title. It's voted on by magazines and different recruiting agencies. His team beat the best team in the nation (Oak Hill Academy - who's starting 5 always plays D1, along with guys on the bench.. they do recruit by the way) by 20 points on ESPN. They didn't lose all year, and EASILY had the top player in America that season. That's how they won the mythical National Title.
