I need a good name, not a common name, but nothing unique either. It's for a 34 year old woman. She's a good person and intelligent, and just an ordinary citizen I guess. But she's a vibrant character and one of the main characters. What should her name be? The genre of the story would be a love story I suppose, but with a unique twist that I choose to keep to myself for it's quite an original idea..but nevermind that, thank you for all of your input in advance!!

Blessings,

Kiara

You should described her more-maybe her physical looks, her lineage..where is she from? or what were her family like? Is her mom or dad from the south? If so, she'll probably have a southern name...if she is from another country, or is she 2nd gen American...More details are needed to get just the right name for the character...I think.

I'd think that you want to keep the ordinary part with the name. I'd go with Beth or Molly. Not EXTREMELY common, but not unique either.

Olga is a name that's been overlooked in stories. As a writer myself I've taken to giving my characters ugly names. People don't realize how hard it is to kill off or injure a character you've created, and I found that giving them ugly names helps.

wat about Jade, Eve, Jenna, Adele, Allegra, Roslyn, Sydney, Vanessa, Amber, Gemma, Ashley..man i cld go on... :)
u shld go to a names website and get a name whose meaning suits the character's personality best.
i do like the 'Delta' suggestion too though and also do think that a possibility will be naming her after urself as u do have a beautiful name.
