Ohio State

THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES. I don't care about Michigan being due. I don't care about anything in the past. I work with a lot of Wolverine fans who quote the last 20 years, all of the times they ruined our perfect seasons etc. This is now. These are different players and different coaches. None of that matters.

I just think that my Bucks have too many weapons on offense to shut them all down. They have multiple receivers that are more than capable and experienced, so Michigan will not be able to concentrate on just 1 of them. I think OSU's defense is also very capable. I think that some of the stats are deceiving because of the type of D that they play.

I am not foolish enough to predict a blow-out either. I know that Michigan is very good on both sides of the ball. I just feel that with
how deep the Bucks can go both ways, Michigan might just wear
down late in the game.

GO BUCKEYES !!!

Being a Buckeye fan, it is hard to say this without bias, but here is my best analysis. I am going to compare each set of positions on the team and say who has the advantage.

QB - OSU - Is there really any argument here? Henne is a great QB, but when Troy Smith, a very matured senior and the #1 Heisman candidate is at QB, he is a powerful force to be reckoned with. Michigan won't only have to worry about his ability to throw and his great reads, but his speed and his keen sense of where everyone on the field is.

WRs - OSU - This is very arguable, and if someone said Michigan had the advantage, they could easily put up a good argument. My basis for this judgment is stats. When Manningham was out, Henne only threw 3 TDs in 4 games. OSUs corners will be able to cover Manningham (even if it takes double coverage) and not worry too much about the other receivers.

RBs - Mich - Again, very arguable. Hart is a tad bit better than Pittman, but Pittman is a solid and consistent back who can get through the holes wherever he is. Hart has the speed and power to make tacklers miss and get in the endzone. OSU has more depth though. Chris Wells is the future of Ohio State, and he is not only a speed runner, and not only a power runner, but both. He has a better burst than any of these two backs and his size makes him hard to bring down. He has a severe case of fumblitis, which can really hurt a team in a game like this.

O Line - Even - Both O lines are very strong and big, and both have had a couple of off-games and were troubled by the defense to protect the QB. If these lines show up, the defense is ganna get mighty tired.

Ill do my analysis of the defense later, but this is it of the offense so far. What do ya think?

Michigan. They have lost the last 4 out of 5 and going to Columbus, they are more hungry for that win. Sorry Teddy Ginn the third time isn't a charm. Look for Michigan to use Micheal Hart and the running game to open up Mario Mannigham and Steven Breaston. The one thing Michigan needs to look out for is the great special teams that Ohio State has. Michigan wins 27-17
