Or is it just coincidental? I started taking birth control pills on November 3rd so I'm sure it must've been affective by the friday after, the 10th. I'm just curious as to why my stomach may be hurting. Any ideas?

I actually used to be really sensitive to semen... I would get an inflammatory reaction that would cause my vagine and lower abdomen to be really sore for about 3-4 hours after sex. It sucked.

I don't have that problem anymore... guess it faded away without my noticing.. so I don't really know how to help you. Yours may fade too... (I have been in a monogamous relationship with the same guy for the last four years, so maybe I just got used to his semen).

Oh yeah, one thing that helped in the short term was to take a shower or bath immediately after sex and try to get the semen out... kind of icky, but it helped with the soreness.

First of all you should be on the pill for a full month before having unprotected sex. Your doctor should have told you that. Second, I would bet money that the issue is an intestinal bug and has nothing much to do with sex either with or without a condom.

She used a condom so get off your soap box. Maybe you pulled or strained your abdominal muscles with your sexual activity.
