im haveing a white/slightly yellowish gooey discharge. this is the second time ive had it in a week. i looked it up on the net and im finding different things. one said it could be Trichomoniasis or a Mucus Plug. being im not pregnant thats im aware of lol i dont thinks its the plug. im pretty sure its cause im ovulating. however i couldnt find a direct answer to whether or not its due to becomeing pregnant. so could it be a sign or am i right im just going through my natural cycle?

thanks for the answers.

its not a yeast infection i already had that checked out. i had one a few weeks ago and treated it so its gone.

i forgot to add its like a mucus gooey. i did the finger test to see if it streaches and it does. so im still thinking its just my natural body cycle.

i wanted to get more info before takein the expense of seeing a professional so i know what im talking about and what they might say as well. thanks.

What does a guy know about a yeast infection? It's not what you describe - it's more like cottage cheese. And very uncomfortable.

The discharge you describe sounds normal, just a regular vaginal secretion. When you are sexually aroused, these secretions increase. And the quality changes during ovulation - may become thinner or thicker, I forget which. At any rate, if there is no pain, no itching, no burning, no "symptoms," then I would say it's just your femininity, don't worry.

I hate to ask this but does it smell? If you can, whenever you notice a discharge of color, try to smell it somehow. If it smells foul, then it's more than likely a yeast infection or some other type of infection or imbalance. If there's no smell, it's probably just something to do with your cycle and horomones or something! Wait it out, see if you get any other symptoms. I used to have discharge like that from time to time and had to wear pantyliners. Everyones body is different!

Excesive vaginal discharge particularly if its odorous and accompanied by itching or burning is symptom of vaginal infection ; a vaginal exam and sampling of secretions seen under microscope are a must to determine best way to treat

If no itch or irritation it couldn't be an infection so it very well could be. But check with your gyn to be sure.
