I really don't think so... I think ppl would get bored of seeing computer generated movies & soaps... that would be dull b/c we want real, tangible ppl. Animation is nice, but only in moderation. HTH

I'm tempted to take offense - I think you've forgotten entirely about stage actors. Just try replacing stage actors with CGI characters.

no because people want to see real live humans performing not some made up character who they can never meet unless they created a virtue world where people can meet the charaters
