My husband saw a crow doing some very unusual things. As the crow flew he would do barrel rows. He did this twice and was also cawing up a storm. Has anyone else seen this?

Crows are sometimes mobbed by smaller birds and do the barrel rolls to escape.

Since they chase small birds and eat their eggs the small ones will eventually attack a single crow. If you look carefully there is a crowd of little birds pecking and dive-bombing on the crow to chase it. The crow is trying to escape and at the same time giving a distress call to get other crows there to help it.

where i live theres a flock of at least a couple hundred crows that live within view of my apartment window... it sounds like pretty normal crow behaviour.
