I have a 2003 BMW 330Ci with sports and performance packages. I test drove the Infiniti G35 and Porsche Carrera 911. None of them matched up to this BMW in acceleration. The specifications say that the G35's 0-60mph are faster. Can anyone tell me the 0-60mph time on the 2003 BMW 330Ci with sports & performance packages (automatic transmission)? Thank you.

A 997 Carrera (0-60 in 4.4 sec) is faster than an M3 (0-60 in 4.8 sec), let alone a 330 coupe (0-60 in 6.1 sec for manual, figure 6.4 for auto). I can hang with a 996 Carrera; you'd get absolutely smoked. And the G35 comes in both sedan and coupe - the sedan 0-60 is 6.2 sec; the coupe is 5.5 sec.

The Boxster was mentioned also - it does 0-60 in 6.0 (I think that's been improved, actually), which is still faster than a 330. And the 330 does NOT have the old M3 engine (the US version of which was 240 hp vs 225 for the 330).

I have an 06 330ci convertible with the high performance pkg. (300 rpm higher rev limit, with 10 extra hp) and if you're trying to tell me that the Porsche 911 that you drove was slower than your 330, I have to say YOU BUMPED YOUR HEAD!!!! I test drove an 06 911 and it SPANKED my 330, there is no comparison! The Porsche is AT LEAST a full second faster in 0-60 acceleration than your 330, are you sure it wasn't a Boxter that you drove???

dude, i got the exact same car except mine isnt a two-door. ive looked online at a lot of sites and it says that the 0-60 acceleration is like 7 seconds. my car does a hell of a lot faster then 7. 7 might just be when you're in regular drive mode, giving noral acceleration pressure. if you're driving in steptronic, then its way faster, especially because 1-3 gears ****** tight in that car. i can get my car to do around 5.3-5.5. ive never run over 5.5, so there's where im basing that off. have fun man

Hmm it's hard to say. Sometime it all depends on the driver...For all three cars that is. Although I know the 330i is quick...mainly because it recieved the old M3 engine....
