Yes! I've had that sensation ever sense I was little. I don't always notice it, but if I'm focused on it I can feel the vibration feeling in my heart and ears. It's so strange, isn't it? I'm sure it's normal though.

Not really what worries me is that I don't have a vaccum cleaner, don't use air-conditioning, or a modern washing machine, or an outdoor spa, microwaves and telephones, all of these and more I can hear emitting from my neighbours house. The thing that worries me is that all the time I am hearing mechanical noises, this frustrates the heck out of me as I only use a washing machine, hairdryer and my phone volume is on low, I love to be able to hear the local birdlife but it is almost drowned out by the constant mechanical noises. But no I don't get those feelings you get.

Actually I assume just the opposite. I find the sounds of technology, especially sounds from applainces,,, Offensive, intrusive, and annoying,,,not at all calming.
I don't stress over any of that however.

Just kind of annoyed that whatever I'm trying to listen to is being blocked out
You might want to have that checked out.
